Sorry my Thank You cards are so late. I wanted to find a way to keep you up to date with everything that is going on in my life. Last time we talked I am sure that I explained how I wanted to join the Air force and that I was waiting to talk to a new recruiter about scheduling an ASVAB date. The ASVAB is like a military placement test a lot like the ACT test. I took the test recently and got my results back immediately I scored a 44 which is a good passing score and compared to the other people there taking the test I got way higher than them. However it wasn't passing for Air force. My recruiter suggested that before I retest to look at my other options which I did pass for, I passed for Navy, Army, Marines...and many others but not enough for Air force so he had me talk to a Navy recruiter and got it all set up for me. After talking to the Navy recruiter I realized what a blessing it was that I got to talk to him, I realized that with joining Navy I would be doing a lot of what I would be in Air force but with a lot more travel which is what I want to do. So I created this blog so you can follow me on my travels. So I have now decided to join Navy and while in the Navy I will study to improve my ASVAB score they have classes which is nice and I can get the jobs that require a higher score if that’s what I want to do. I should be getting my Military Physical within the month...and he said after signing I can be out as soon as August till as late as October depending on the job I pick and if it’s available and my ship out date. Again Thank You all so much for my Graduation cards, Presents, and Money. It all means so much to me. Now I need to go finish that security clearance :). Navy here I come :).
